Adding passengers and performance
I'm a little confused. I own an Audi rS4, and I'd like to know how much the performance in terms of acceleration is decreased by each passenger.
I could have sworn that I hit 60 in the high 4s (4.7 or 4.8) with me and 2 others in the car and my clubs.
Was I dreaming or is it not that much of a difference?

about 0.3 seconds in the 1/4, or roughly 0.1 sec per 100 pounds.
I actually tested this back in the day when drag strips allowed passengers.

So we can completely disregard any data in this thread
using a stopwatch? I thought people in this forum were generally pretty scientifically inclined individuals. Knowing full well that a stopwatch count from when you "drop the clutch and stop around 65" yields about as accurate a guess as the death toll in darfur.
