Default aftermarket spare tire/wheel

I'm interested in the RS4 as a daily driver, with long out-ot-town trips a strong possibility. Consequently, I really don't like the substitution of a can of fix-a-flat in lieu of a spare. My VW R32 has that, and I've already experienced how ridiculous it is. Anybody know of an Audi spare tire/wheel combo for the RS4, or an aftermarket spare? Thanks.

Default Frankly I would just buy an extra OEM wheel and a matching tire

I would not mess around, and there is at least one person on here who has done it and keeps it in his trunk because he felt the pain of waiting a week for a rim, they are hard to find.

That's a good idea, but I'm guessing there's no place to put this rim/tire (or undersize spare, for that matter) other than in top space of the trunk where the luggage goes. There are a couple of parts suppliers that make undersize spares for my VW R32 that fit under the flap in trunk where the fix-a-flat and tools reside.

Default Because the battery is in what used to be the spare wheel well - there's no room for ...

any sort of spare under the trunk.

I'm investigating whether an Audi temporary spare wheel and tyre (50 miles limited to 50mph) exists which is compatible with the RS4. I think I've identified a rim which will fit the rear (would have to swap rear to front in the event of a front flat) and a suitable tyre - but I'm waiting for availability of the tyre.

Default What about a plug kit?

No messy gunk in your tire. Most likely will have to take the wheel off though.
