I know track is total different story, daily driving like local, freeway ramp, freeway is what it really matters...how is RS4 up against M5 E55 or corvette?

And on freeway, is RS4 a lot faster than S4? or is it just little faster?

The regular Corvette should be the closest. The others won't be.

Agreed.. perhaps it might be a bit closer with the C6.. but it should smoke the base corvette

in any given performance situation except maybe launching from a wet surface in a drag race or on a very wet road course.

The C6 vette has better power to weight ratio and much more torque. It is not even close... I could hardly pull a C6 base vette on a road course in the straights in my M5 (which already has a crazy top end) so no way in hell the RS4 can.

And I agree with Verr?ckt with regards to the C6 Z06... it will slaughter the RS4 on the straights. Slaughter is a very appropriate word in this case too. A C6 Z06 was pulled away from my RS4 like I was standing still.

Lets get real here. While we all adore the RS4 and give it a 11 out of 10 in our books, let's not go overboard and start comparing it to purpose-built sport coupes and "supercars"

so to sum it up...on freeway it is faster than...m3 c55 etc but will be slaughtered by c6 m5 etc?
