Default All I want for Christmas is ... a new windshield

On the way home from our Thanksgiving road trip I was pelted by rocks from an overpass on the freeway. I have no idea what the source of the rocks was, but this is the result. Just my luck that it's right smack in the middle of the driver's side... (watch for scale)

Ouch! Only one chip on the leading edge of the hood, besides that the windshield took the majority of the damage.

Ouch. I have a small chip on my driver's side, but it's low enough to ignore for now.

Default Sorry to see. But insurance ought to cover it

Just make sure it is the St. Gobain one, not a knock off that Safelite uses. G/L!

Default $430 and it will be new again!

Semi got me with a rock. Looked much worse than yours, but ruined is ruined. Make sure they order the gel-pack (?) for the automatic wipers or your car will get to spend an extra day at the dealer.

that's actually not a bad one....might be repairable, if you get it in before it starts to run.

Default Nice Omega

Just read a whole magazine on their history and how they are getting back into the premium market again.

Default Alpine Glass replaced mine...

I'm sure there are plenty of good glass replacement shops in the Wasatch Front area but I used Alpine and they took unually good care my RS-4.
