All season tires???
I need some help guys, I'm looking to put on some all season tires and for the RS4 you basically have the choice between Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S, which I hear make a lot of noise after 5k miles, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, which don't come in XL load that Audi recommends and here is where my question comes in....the Yokohama Advan S4 that doesn't come in XL but in the RF load (Reinforced) Would that be just as good as an XL rating?? Tire rack told me they would go with an XL rated tire to avoid "vibration". Any input guys???

Re: Why are you doing this? Just Curious.....
Because its not like I track the car and just want a tire I can use all year round with some decent performance which the Yoko's provide...from what I hear.

A/S tires are the jack of all trades and master of none. Especially on a powerful sedan you will soon feel their deficiency in all seasons...
But if you are really so inclined, go with the Pilots. They will be just as good as the summers in the cold, so you are really not getting any upside and a lot of downside. Just my honest $0.02

So whats the answer?? Just get new summer tires and be careful in the winter? Because I dont want to be changing tires back and forth every 6 months.

Well, depends where you live (climate wise) and how often you plan on using the car in snow and ice.
If you are in the snowbelt, nothing will help you other than true winters.

Well, it seems for a handful of light snowy days (say 15) you will see in your area you are willing to give up 270 days of driving on a tire this car was equipped to be driven with... So you decide what makes sense...
