...to see if there's a difference. An interesting thing that I noticed when reinstalling it is that with the lower inlet horn in place, the outer edge of the air inlet point is very close to some lines (power? vacuum?) that directly obstruct the intake path. Without the air horn, the air inlet is 2-3" away from those obstructions. SO...my hypothesis at this point is that MAF will log *better* without the lower air horn in place.
ADDITIONALLY....if you ditch that air horn, I think there *might* be enough space to run a cold air feed to the lower air inlet....bascially you've got an extra 2-3" of space to do that. One could even cut down the lip on the airbox itself to free up some more space down there. Just thinking out loud...
Having said this....I can't log **** until my new wheels & tires arrive, which should be Wednesday. One tire has an unrepairable flat.

these are definitely OBTAINIUM...
...off the shelf in fact, and should be about 10lbs lighter than stock EACH, and WELL under $1000 each. I'll post some scale pics comparing them vs. stock when they arrive...(fingers crossed). Until then, I'll just keep on truckin' in my F150...

Wow....OBTAINIUM must be a light metal!!!....
16 lbs each for a 19" wheel. Never heard of anything like this other than Carbon fiber. But that is about $2500 per wheel. Got pics?

I'm basing the weight on....
....this, which indicates the stock/titan wheel weighs 33 lbs. The wheels I ordered are 20 lbs each. Not sure how accurate these numbers are, but I'll put them both on a scale (with tires attached) when they arrive. The tires I chose are Michelin PS2 in stock size, which according to Tire Rack are 1 lb heavier than my stock Pirellis.
