I change my own but $145 seems cheap to me. Parts alone run about $110. Changing the oil filter takes longer than most cars. To get at the drain plug, the bellypan need to be removed which has about 20(?) fasteners. Then the service reminder needs to be cleared. Finally, there's the expense of liability if something goes wrong.

Yeah, JHM sells an oil change kit and it runs $82.50 for just the right amount of Lubro-Moly (5w40) + a filter (+ tax and shipping). I would pay the premium also to have it done at the dealer.

I've done about 5 at the dealer now... all in the $ 100-120 range. Additionally they perform diagnostics check, look the car over w/ fine tooth comb, and finally test drive & wash it. So it's well worth it.
