Am I reading this correctly?!?
So I went on Stratmosphere's website and I was looking at the milltek exhaust. I def am going to redo the exhaust on this car. I know there was a long thread about this but it says if you want the sport button to work its going to be EVEN MORE MONEY?!?!?
Imaging this:
Cat back with valves: $2500.00
DP: $5,000.00 (the S4 ones are about double)
Install: 6 hours @ 150/hr = $900.00
Total Price: $8,400.00
Are they out of their mind?!? Who would pay that much for an exhaust? Tubi exhausts for F and Lcars arent even that much! Holy crap.....its magnaflow for me!

I called Magnaflow two days ago and they said to call back in 6-8 weeks.
They said they were still doing R&D on the exhaust. I will definitely be getting that set-up when it becomes available.

playing devil's advocate for a minute, I think Stratmosphere's *cost* for the product is also high.
I don't blame them for the cost...after all, they're just a reseller for Milltek. And Milltek probably did spend a lot on R&D. But obviously the price is raising a lot of eyebrows...

There are a couple companies who spend a lot of money on R&D...
Milltek is one of them. There are a couple others who do it as well. Your going to make power with them and not only sound good. Milltek also sells worldwide so I would expect them to not be that much more then what other people are expected to offer. I would expect a price drop once some competition comes out but most of the pricing is controlled by Phil the owner of milltek.
