To hell with the C63, it's a blunt tool, just like the E63.

Default It will undoubtedly have an amazing engine. If MB develops a DSG-like gearbox, I might want one...

As great as the RS4's 4.2L FSI engine is, I was driving around my 5000+ lb truck today and all the available torque that same 6.2L AMG engine gives throughout the entire rev range made me think for a moment, "damn wish I had this engine in my RS4" ...with the C63 I'd have that, albeit rear wheel drive and not row-your-own, and assuming MB gets the driving dynamics right, and also assuming the amg-styled version of the new C-class isn't fugly. It would meake things very interesting.

Default M3->S5 is maybe a better, more direct comparo...

And another 'hammer' from AMG costing > 50% over the RS4/M3 and almost 2x the S5.
No comparison here, M-B off in another direction as always...not necessarily a bad thing.

By the time the M3 actually hits roads, the RS4 will have finished it's production run.

Default People that want drivers cars dont buy AMG, except for DD duties

Sure they are fast, but ultimately they are always more about luxury and bling then performance.
