Any Avus Silver pics out there?
I placed my order for an Avus RS4 last week and would love to see anyone's pics/opinion of the color on the car. I've owned a 2000 Silver S4, a 2005 Silver S4, and I'm curious as to what this will look like in person....there hasn't been one here in the Raleigh (Triangle) area of NC. Thanks!

check my pic poster directory.
personally, I like it best on cloudy days or at night....it looks more pewter-colored than silver in lower light conditions. on clear days, you see a lot of blue in it reflected from the sky. very easy to keep clean-looking.

I apprecaite the response...yah, I noticed the blue tones....much different than the Light Silver Metallic. I still do like it and felt I made the right choice overall. For a minute there I was actually contemplating the Sprint Blue, but felt that would be a little out there. As you've been with the car now are you still finding it to be everything you hoped it would be?

Very true about the effect of ambient light on the color. Which interior did you order?
Same as Bob on no regrets or problems. Also I have had none of the oil use troubles some have reported. I followed the Audi break-in rec's. Some will say Motorman breakin is better. I don't know, but I could not be happier with the car.

Sorry for the long delay...I ordered the black interior and went with the brushed aluminum trim instead of carbon fiber...
