Default I think most who are looking for this...

...are waiting for the guys at Stratmosphere to come out with their RS4 HyperFlow Induction & publish the perf results. Production has been delayed a few times. I'm not too optimistic it'll be available this summer, afterall.

Not sure if their are other tuners with similar cold-air kits in the works for the B7 RS4.

Default the stock airbox IS a CAI.

the hyperflow intake for the B6/7 S4 has been shown to have *increased* intake temps and *decreased* airflow compared to the stock airbox, so the only real reason to get it would be for the sound (assuming you don't mind losing some performance in the process).

Default Hopefully no one has a "CAI" similar to Hyperflow in the works...

because they're all garbage. In fact, I hope Stratmosphere abandons their cai for the RS4 and stops selling the one for the B6/B7 S4. It's a complete rip-off. $40 bucks in parts, sold for $350. A $10 "heat shield" that shields no heat and a $30 K&N filter is the meat of the kit.

Ingesting 150+ degree air is no good for performance. Buy a K&N filter and drop it into the stock 'cold air' box.

Related CAI advice

why? I thought that Audi used the stock airbox even on the race cars.

Kindasortof - only about 50% of the air is cold at WOT, there's room for improvement
