Any recent RS4 buyers consider the S6 or the 650i? Why the RS vs. the others?

RS4 and 650i are very different cars. Both are very satisfying to drive, although the RS4 is more,
engaging and fun. I have had my RS4 for 3 months and the 650i Sport conv. for 9. If I could have one, it would be the RS4 because it is just plain fun to drive. Tough to beat the exhaust note. The 6 is a very solid and well balanced car. I think that it is much quicker than one might think given its 4300 lbs and 360 bhp and 360 lb.ft., but it is not close to the RS4 or the AMG's. One very cool BMW feature is the Head Up display.

Traded in my 645 Coupe for the RS4 3 days ago...
And have no complaints whatsoever. The RS4 is much more fun to drive, period. My 645 was a great refined coupe, but did not have the edge and excitement the RS does. However, the comparison is apples to oranges.

650i is apples to oranges
An M6 perhaps, but that is still very different. Two doors vs. 4, and cost, although I did not pick the RS4 b/c it was cheaper. I would not have even considered a 650i. An M6 has too much interference with power selection. Sometimes, too much choice is not a great thing. iDrive, and SMG are not so great. I have owned 7 BMW's and still have one so am definately not anti BMW. I considered a E63 and M5 as my other options. The RS4 won hands down for different reasons as to each other option.

Not asking for a comparo. I'm curious, if the above were considered, why the RS in the end.

ok, here you go
vs. 650i. RS because it has 4 doors and more power and better power delivery and handles much better. The RS has more appealing looks to me than the 6 does. Interior ergonomics and finish are also more pleasing to me in the RS.
vs. S6. RS because I like the more compact size of the RS. Although power is not that different, power delivery is much different as is handling. RS is just a step up. Interestingly enough, I would pick the RS4 over a new RS6 style, if they had one, because I still like the smaller size of the RS for the best handling character.
