Default Anybody else experience squealing brakes?

Mine are squealing like a virgin when lightly braking now that the weather has turned colder. Some nice deep braking seems to warm them up and eliminate the squealing. However, a long cruise without braking seems to cool them off and then they squeal again. It only happens when I'm braking gently. It's annoying as hell.

Deglaze them with a good beating. City driving polishes 'em.

2nd. a good beating very similar to a bedding-in process will "refresh" the brakes.

Mine squeak too. How do you bed in the brakes?

You forgot step # 8... put tongue on rotor to see if correct temperature has been reached.
