I have the normal concealed display, but I'm not happy with where the dealer stuck it - just above the rotary light switch.

If so is the display satisfactory. Cetainly it would be nice to have the clean look but the information on the Valentine remote is easily recognized. I do like the reworked case on the Ebay auction unit.

Unless you are driving in Virgina or DC, it is not illegal to use a radar/lidar detector. In Virginia, you can be detected by a cop with an RDD (Radar Detector Detector), pulled over, and ticketed. In which case a stealth install buys you nothing.
