Anybody remove the PASS AIR BAG OFF bulb? How did you get to it?

I checked the Bentley (again) and it says the radio and HVAC controls must come out first
Are you then saying that it's a relay, because my button is rock solid w/ no actuation whatsoever, so I assumed it's only a panel with a bulb behind it.

You calling me out?
Here's a pic of the harness (6-pin):

Clip the platic tie (red circle), slide off blue harness to expose pins, then remove Pin #2. (I believe this is the one)

I'm not going to do this, but you get the idea.

damn sam, i owe ya. Thanks a bunch.
So does that trim panel above the switch panel just pull straight back and off, and does the PASS AIR BAG OFF "button" just pull off too?
Figured I should ask before I bust something in this (brittle plastic) cold garage.
Thanks again man, in fact - you da man! To hell with the Bentley, we got ToblertheDog!

Sort of...
The trim panel can be popped off from the edges using a trim tool..otherwise, you're prone to scratch your trim. Just take it slow.
The airbag "button" needs to be pushed from behind...not pulled. So you're better off popping out the switches on both sides...these come out easier b/c their switches. If you can slide your finger behind & push your good...otherwise you may need to find something w/ a right angle to prop from behind.
Be careful removing the blue harness from the switch...there's a "safety lock" (like on all harnesses)...but this one is prone to snap. I've gone thru at least ten of these allready...not a big deal.
Have fun.

Can the stereo be pulled out, wiring harness popped into the dash and a blank installed?
or does that set off a error code somewhere?
If that's the case pop the wire behind the radio and reinstall the light and place a blank over the hole.
