Anyone?....
Traded or sold their B5 S4 (any stage) and regretted it? Not that it will sway my decision either way (it might). I acknowledge that some B5 S4's might be faster, but new car, probably just as quick, and fresh chasis are considerations. Would you keep your B5 (stg 2+) S4? Thanks for any insight.

I still have my B5 S4 - Stage 2. Sadly it has become my "beater". Winter is coming though.
Seriously, IT REALLY ISN'T ALL ABOUT SPEED. The RS4 is very, very fast, but it's the total package that blows me away every time I turn the key. It is a very refined driver's car that makes the B5 feel old by comparison (and I LOVE my B5.
I'm sure that I'll enjoy the old S this winter, but I'm just as sure that I'll be looking for that 45 degree sunny day in January to pull the RS out for a spin...

I was in the same situation as to whether to keep my B5S4 or buy an RS4.
Well I chose to keep my B5S4 and for about the same money as an RS4 buy a used 996 TT. I could not be happier.
