Default Anyone else believe there is a potential solid market for a S/C kit for the RS4?

I feel like in the next 2-3 years, with the arrival of new cars pushing the RS4 aside from a numbers standpoint(atleast in theory), that there will be a solid market for even a mild s/c pushing the envelope to 500+HP.

I feel like there is a market. Someone just needs to do it right, keep the whole kit sub $10k. (MTM isn't even close to that price, they never were, even for the B5 s4, their kits were always atleast double the local competition)

It would also give us somehting to look forward to post warranty :-)

Default I believe

I agree MTM is $%$$$$. This car has so much potential that can be opened. MTM's performance numbers show that. If there is a kit below 10 it will sell, and I will seriously look at it. For now I'm not complaining.

Sure, but with the required engine mods and limited demand, expect to pay $$$$$$$

there isn't even a solid market for a S/C for the S4, so RS4=no way.

Default Well since the R8 has just about the same engine...

I would think that tuners will be looking for ways to make that car faster which can only benefit the RS4 owners as well.

I'm more interested in finding out how Audi got 500hp out of the RS4 engine. I'm referring to the race version RS4 that someone at The Audi Forum in Ingolstadt told me about.

I'm working on getting in touch with him so maybe he can get us more information :-)

For the S4, yes. RS4, no.

Default R8 red line 7800

R&T article said red line on R8 was 7800. Is that right? Also something about 200 rpm in reserve in 1st 2nd & 3rd. I agree with upgrade bleedover from R8 will only help us RS4 owners
