bit more detail?...
you can pair and it seems ok, then it disconnects?
you get in the car, it connects then disconnects?
either way, something's wrong, the BT is seamless in this car.
maybe another BT device close by you have paired and authorized before, another phone?

Had a Treo do that a while back...
With the Treo, the Audi Bluetooth/phone prep didn't like any phone numbers that had any pause codes in them like for dialing phone extensions or menu options.
Check to see if you have any phone numbers like that. Something to try.
Eric.

Re: bit more detail?...
it pairs OK. But as Im driving you hear the warning tune, see the message (phone not available or somthing similar), which signals its not paired anymore or cant find the phone. THEN it reconnects/pairs again, and then the cycle repeats itself , every minute.
Wondering if its a phone issue or not (any 8525 or HTC users out there?), perhaps should try another phone.

I have a similar, but worse problem with my BB 8700...
it pairs fine and then 2 minutes later the car tells me that it is no longer paired. But the phone still thinks it is. And I can't disconnect the BT connection on the BB. So, I have to reboot the BB. It has been like this since day one and it so annoying. I have never even successfully made a call using the car's BT.

Re: Anyone else having bluetooth problems with the cingular 8525?
I have the same issue with my LG nV2 (verizon). It works fine for a little while then starts doing the connect and disconnect attempts every min. Prior to that i had a Motorola Razor and it worked perfectly. Im certian that its the phone causing the issue. I finnaly got someone to be honest with me at the verizon store and they admited there is issues with the bluetooth on my phone and to check for software updates...months later, no updates. It may be new phone time for me! Anyone have any experience with the bluetooth on the blackberrys?
