Default Anyone ever used 100 octane in their RS4?

I'm going drag racing this Friday and I'm thinking of putting a few gallons of 100 octane in just for the heck of it. I figure it can't hurt with the 12.5:1 compression ratio. Engine/exhaust is stock.

Anyone notice a difference?

I'd be surprised if you didn't notice a little difference running 95 or 96.

Default With any of the audi's you will need to give it 50-75 miles to adapt. Also if you have a vag com

after you fill up go into engine, get the codes (even though there may not be any) and clear them. It will reset the fuel trims and adapt to the 100 much faster.

Default I put in 104 once in my S4

It was a waste of $4 a gal (price was almost $7 a gal) at the track when I was getting 6.5 mpg. I went back to 93

Default Probably the biggest benefit you'll get is

The sweet smell of 100 octane exhaust. It has a smell all it's own.

Default You can do the same thing by pulling the battery. Please post your times at the 1/4 mile

I'd be interested to see what a stock rs4 can do.

Some b6 S4 track junkies have done it claimed significantly greater "pull" thru the gears.
