Anyone go with the Hartmann RS4 replica rims with winters??
Got caught early last year with 1/2 inch dusting in the S4 with PS2's...slid all over the place trying to stop. getting the winter wheels asap. Hartmann has the replica rims on their site, and i was wondering how they look?? went with tirerack for the S4, and they were great, but I don't like their options too much, and they only have one 19" version i think...

I dunno....but I need some winters in teh next 3 weeks
I almost totalled my S4 last eyar in literally 1/2 inch of snow with the PS2. doing 35, tried to stop at a stoplight and slid right into the middle of the intersection. The heavy boat just kept going.....fortuntatel a large truck saw me having difficulty and stopped.
I may check on the stock rims from dealer, but I am sure they are 600 each or so....
Just going to clean out the S4 before I pick up teh RS4 this afternoon......ooohh, can not wait......

Tire Rack special on AT Italia = $139 + tire, --more --
Admittedly, the AT Italias look a liiiitle dopey, but they're not awful.
I'm not sure I'd bank on the Hartmann's being available in time, especially as the rush for winter tires this time of year can put you into further delay.
18" x 7.5" is probably the smartest configuration, so at $139 per wheel, you're not unloading a bucketful of money, and if you decide you can't stand their dopeyness after a while, flip 'em on eBay and remount your tires on the Hartmanns when they arrive.
We're ultimately talking about vanity here, so it would seem foolish not to have something lined up to cover the slippy-maybe first, and vanity second.

I have the old school RS4 hartmann replicas...
18x8.5 ET20 so no need for spacers. Here it is pictured with summer rubber but I will be mounting a set of dunlop M3 winter rubber soon.

We have 28 containers due into the new warehouse this month (26,000 wheels)
They started arriving last week unfortunately with so many on the water I don't know what they are delivering day to day. We have both the 18x7.5 et20 RS6 wheels and 18x8.5 et20 RS4 wheels in route "Both will work well". On a side note the 18x8.5 et30 RS6 wheels require a 2mm spacer some of the writing on the back of the wheel hits the bottom of the caliper.
