Some coins dropped back there and it won't open all the way...

Default There was a B5 A4/S4 tech article on removing stuck coins...

I can't find it anymore, but basically you take a stiff notecard and wrap Duct Tape (adhesive side out) around it. Slide the card and tape to where the coins are and then use it to adhere to and remove the coins. I don't know if that will he with your problem, but I thought I would throw it out there anyway.

Default I've got a coin in there to

and now the lid only opens about half way. Was thinking may have to snap the cover to get it off.

Default You could try...Remove shifter trim surround, and unscrew the entire ashtray assembly...

It is only held in by two 10mm hex head screws, you should be able to pull the entire assembly that way, and have your way with it.

Default Our techs here remove the whole factory radio...

and climate control system. You can then remove the whole ash tray unit to empty out the change. Current record per one of our techs = $7.35 out of one customer ash tray unit.

Change can fall down past the aluminum door and down underneath the ash tray comparment.
