Anyone know what the thickness of the front rotors are when new ?
Dealer is recommending I replace mine as the are within .5mm of minimum.
As a side note, the low brake pad warning light actually worked on my car...

Per Bentley manual, original/minimum mm for FNR-G 60 front caliper rotor (320mm or 345mm) is 30/28, for Brembo (365mm) it's 34/32 (not sure which of those is on RS4, but imagine it is one of the two). On my S4 I had to replace front rotors first go-around, rear rotors were thick enough that I only replaced pads.
Rotors look pretty hefty to me, if they are above the minimum when it is time to replace pads, I would say just replace the pads.

Thanks. RS4 must have the 34... I normally do the pads myself but my car was in for 25k service...
so decided to let them do it this time.
