If you want to expose these scammers, tell them you're nearby and want to come check out the car. The story always turns into
'ah well the car is in Hawaii, and I'm in Iraq serving the country' yada yada.
'Great, my brother is in Hawaii, so he'll check the car out for me'
'Oh...well the car is actually being shipped from Hawaii to Alaska as we speak, so that won't work. Just send me a deposit and I'll hold it for you.
