took my car to jack daniels motors 4 times for leaking DRC ,they would not replace them. they told me system is only (sweating).not leaking no need to replace. AoA say whatever the tech say (sweating) they go by that.so im looking 4 another dealer in the area to hear there opinion.

Default Beiner Audi in Great Neck

The one time I brought it in, they asked no questions and had it replaced.

Default Yah, like 6 shocks... Going through them quicker than breathmints

Go to Riverside Audi, right off the Lincoln tunnel. They've worked on half a dozen RSs in the last 3 months, so they (should) know by now...

Default Dude

You need to get on the phone with AofA at this point. Six shocks? WTF? That is not reasonable.

Even though I have "left the tribe" and now drive an E90 M3, this is not acceptable. It really isn't.

Time to make a stink and get some satisfaction.

You are a (fellow) New Yorker.

Confrontation should not be a problem for you ;-)

Default True that!

It was 6 shocks, but technically over 2 incidents. 2 the first time (fronts), and all last month (as well as the valves).

Funny thing is, one more incident, or a few more calendar days of the car being out of service, and my state's Lemon Law kicks in. At this stage happy with the car, but if this continues I may be writing you for some tips on aopening a buy back ;-o)

My NY resolve may be testing, and proven!

dont take it out on the dealers. they are only telling you what is in the bulliten for this.

audi of america would be the only way to get things done. just make sure to tell them that the dealer has done EVERYTHING they can otherwise A of A will just throw it back on them.

Default Funny thing is Jack Daniels is 'approved' Stasis installer. In fact in late summer they hosted a

RS4 gathering.

However Riverside said they won't have any problems installing Stasis should I chose them for the task...
