Anyone try these license plate LEDs yet from ECS?

Do they throw codes like every one I have tried so far?

I'm trying to make my plate harder to read not easier ;)

I've not tried these, but irrespective of that, I've tried others with integrated shunt resistors which always throw the code. You have to shunt so much current to prevent the code that it is not practical to have the resistors in the lamp holder due to heat disipation, best to add them to the wiring inside the trunk lid.

I thought about it too Reggie...I think the ECS one comes with a kit that doesn't throw codes (when I read about it)

I've been in the same boat - and have gotten every one offered by ECS in the past - I gave one set to a friend with B6 and they work there.
