Averaged 26.2mpg from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
Long story short. I filled up in Vegas, drove all the way home, and even had 100 miles to spare. This car is smashing!!!

I guess when you don't frequently down shift into 3rd at 70 and push it up to 100,
your mpg improves. I'm still averaging about 13 mpg (70% highway).
|
To get 26mpg, he must have been driving pretty slowly. You might get that cruising at 70 or below...
I wonder what the average speed was ?
|
I get that too on a regular basis on 100+ mile drives
|
I actually was constantly driving between 80-90 mph. Here and there, I would let her rip.
|
I think I'm getting slightly better mileage after Milltek cat-back install.....no joke.
|
Driving steady at 55mph, I recorded 29+mpg on the onboard cpu. But it was too painful to continue :)
|
Probably because it is so loud you are backing off from driving hard.
:)

I got 30 once... low on gas, downhill in neutral. lol
Coming back from the mountains.
But without cheating the best I've gotten is a hair over 22. |
Perhaps my mileage is affected by living at altitude (Denver) but I haven't seen over 24 on trips
My longest trip so far is under 150 miles, and they always have city driving at both ends which probably makes a big difference.
