This has been on my wish-list for quite some time. I'm having trouble deciding between resonated and non-resonated. Now my decisions just got harder. Both tip options are beautiful!

Go resonated. Cleaner, more exotic sound. Non-res is too crackly and unrefined.

I drive clients in this car, as well as use it for long haul family vacations. Is there any difference in the amount of highway drone between res and non-res? Potential drone is really my only apprehension...

Second, from what you just said, go with Res! It is for a discerning client that uses this car for both work and play. You can hear the radio, speak on a cell, talk to passengers all with a Res system.

Highway drone is not a problem with mod'd 4.2 engines. The 2.7T drones on the highway but the 4.2 exhibits a "boom" or in cabin resonance down low between 1500 and 2k rpm. You'll notice it around town if you stay in that rev range for any length of time. Otherwise, it's not terribly intrusive.
