Hey just wanted to let ya know the dream is alive and possible! Got My rs4 avant imported and plated just last week.

steps to doing this was rather long and multi year process but it is doable.
1) get a job europe,
2) buy an rs4 avant at least one year before you leave and most important have it paid off.
3) get a job in canada
4) import under section 7(1)(b) of the motor vehicle safety act. - your status has to be a temporary resident in order for you to keep your car, if it changes to perm status or any other status you will have to export the car.

I have a 3 year temp worker status that will carry me to the 15 year import ban limit in Canada, so can keep my car in canada for another 10 years after that before I can move back to the US.
