I could understand why Audi would choose to detune any other car in their lineup, but this one?

chip gains aren't to be had, from all indications. Best claims are 20 HP, < 5% gain, and those are suspect at best.

Sure it's not huge gains but also not big money. have read where it improves the powerband of car also. Also have a Tubi exhaust so hopefully it's a good combo. Will post my thoughts next week after chipping

What made you decide on Unitronic over, say, Revo? Improved power band would be worthwhile and even a small HP gain would be nice, if it can be realized.

Performance gains are incredible. 26hp and 26 lb-ft, smoother throughout the power-band, removal of all flat spots, and the option of increasing the volume in lower rpms

trying to get rid of a flat spot the magnaflow exhaust gave me. Flat spot is now gone and it certainly feels smoother and revs harder to redline in the upper part of the range. Happy with the results for ~$580. Not a big deal really on a NA car.

I think they want 2k for their software...bit expensive for a chip tuning.
