B9 RS4 Rumors

I was in the market for the F82 M4, now it looks like the W205 C63 AMG is right around the corner and it's gonna be a BEAST. But if Audi had a sedan B9 RS4 in the works for the US, man oh man!! Being able to put down all that torque from the rumored TT with Quattro? Daily driving it in the NE through snow and sleet? FAGHEDDABOUTIT!

So anyone have any other good rumors they could share?

As a person who hates turbos - I would be sad to see it happen. I would much more prefer a S/C option if they have to go to a V6.

It will be interesting to see if Audi brings the RS4 to the US rather than the RS5 as they have now. I long ago realized I can't figure out Audi of America marketing strategy.

It's quite simple, if they believe a model will be hard to sell, they will not spend the millions it takes to certify it for the US. It just so happens that they do not have a straightforward and/or consistent way of thinking in this area.

TTT - Any more info? A local Audi dealer "claims" the RS4 sedan is a go. It may be true but I seriously doubt the dealer has any more credible evidence compared to the power of the internets.
