LI-S4

I popped in when the B5 / RS4 **** storm started. (Stage III+ B5 here and sadly I can't be around to represent when Fluffhead does his video's this weekend).

I spent a few minutes in and around Fluff's RS4 and it blows away my B5 in refinement, ergonomics and technology. The cluster alone is a work of art. And I have dropped a lung modding every aspect of my car..

The one thing I have not been able to adjust to though is the deep front grill. I know, it's a love it or hate it thing...I am the latter. So, I am wondering if any of the Rs4 owners feel as I do, and might have done something creative to the front grill/bumper... ??

FWIW...there is no way to say, hands down, which car is better...B5 of any stage, or RS4...they are different cars. Unless someone staged a shootout with dyno, road, drag all scored it is nothing but dick waiving on both sides. Cheers to you guys...damn nice cars, but I'll keep my 400 whp. ;-)

It is light years ahead of the B5 S4. You don't judge a car ONLY by 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. A modded B5 might be a better bang for the buck,and deliver great performance numbers, but it is not a better car.

I have a Euro black grill surround on order for my black RS4. I'm thinking it might look better with a solid black grill and just the bright rings. Here is the before picture.

Of course, I will also be adding a solid black filler plate (no tag) to complete the look.

If you have to mod the **** out of it to get good performance...well then I'm not interested. I like performance out of the box and then have the option of course of taking it even further.

Not a fan of the additional fender arches on the RS4 fenders.... pretty ugly.

No too mention that car has no functional splitter on it. I would put my money on the STaSIS car over that car if it could be run without SCCA boost limits.
