What the weight going to be on that new M3? Haha..just stirring up some **** but seriously what's the weight difference going to be between these two cars?

Maybe. I heard the v8 engine is lighter than the old 6 cylinder...
and the added intercooling of the 335i engine and all other ancillarys necessary in a tt application may not have the M3 much heavier at all, maybe lighter. Should be interesting to see.

B6S4 gives up 500 to 'current' M3...US spec RS4 (at ~3950) 100 above B6S4.
I speculate that the difference will be in the 3-500 range, and that the M3 will be .3/5mph faster at 1320.
The important part: I don't give a flying fvck. Audi builds pigs. Mine:
B5S4 = 3501
B6S4 = 3860
RS4 = 3950
But I have grown to like mah piggies.

Yeh, things are typically beefed up with a V8 under the hood. Doesn't matter if it's...
actually a lighter engine than the I6. With V8's go bigger brakes, suspension pieces, trans and clutch, to name a few. I expect the new M3 to add weight over the 335, for sure.
