...better than...it lasts much, much longer...<years>. ;)
I wonder out of curiousity how many RS4 Avants would be sold stateside....in orders of magnitude, probably in the tens, doubtful in the hundreds and the reason Audi doesn't bring them here. Too bad for the few.

More space, simply put. Bikes fit in there, ski trips are easier, etc.
It is like having a sports car that can also be used on trips to the Home Depot should you need something.
I guess some people like the sedan and some like the Avant. It is just a differing of opinion I think.

I have asked myself the same question many times and I cannot put my finger on it.
For me, it has nothing at all to do with the 'utility' of it. The b5 and b6 had the same impact on me....maybe the shape, design and flow of it all coming together so perfectly.
