BIRD STRIKE! Almost forgot about this until someone sent me the picture (taken with his phone)...
Sorry for the poor quality.
This happened as I was going down the front strait at Calabogie at about 105 mph. The darn bird swooped down in front of me and I really never thought I hit it until I came into the pits after the lapping session and some folks started gathering around my car with cameras.
In any case I caught it right between the upper bumper cover and the lower part of the headlight. When I attempted to pull it out it came apart with the remainder of the crazy flyer stuck inside between the two and no it wasn't pretty to see.
On another note... The new brake set up is INSANE! The brake pedal hardly moves even under hard tracking with absolutely no fade. I have never driven with such brakes. We still need to adjust the system and the pedals too.
That is all!

Ouch!
I tagged a bird while coming back to the hotel during quattro de Mayo this year. Luckily it hit the windshield, and since we were going much less than 105 mph it did no damage.

birds are dumb...i've run over 3 in the past year at *low* speed.
for some reason, doves just sit in the middle of my street early in the morning....usually they fly away at the last second, but sometimes they don't.
