Default Blackberry "Pearl" issues... please help

Okay. I just tried to pair my new Blackberry "pearl" to my car and the phone will not connect.

My old Blackberry (7100 through Verizon) worked really well.

I know the code for the RS4 is 1234 but I am not sure what it is for the Pearl.

Also, does it matter what service I am using. The new phone is through T-Mobile.

Thanks for the help.

Mat

Default the code is what you set it. Set it in the settings menu of the nav system and then

enter that code into your phone when asked. My pearl works flawlessly.

Default Not sure about the Pearl...

But, so far, I have been able to pair three different phones with my RS4 and my S4. Two Nokia's (6682 & 6300) and a Moto RAZR V3i. All of them worked with 1234 as the code to be typed in the phone. Seems to be the default code on all phones unless you change it.

Default Re: the code is what you set it. Set it in the settings menu of the nav system and then

do you mean the the code that the phone asks you to enter? Becasue I know the code for b tooth in the car is still 1234.

Default change it again just to be sure. Then when pairing the phone will ask you for the code and

enter the code you just entered in the navi.

thanks for the help... I got it to work!

Now, do you have your address book down loaded? I can't seem to get mine to load up.

I appreciate the help.

Make sure Address Book Transfer is enabled on the Bluetooth options page if you are having problems.
