Default Bluetooth

How does this work in the RS4. If you have a BT phone, you pair it, answer and dial from the car electronics?

Thanks

Default Yes.

Pair the phone. Set permission to TRUST on the phone and the BT will always link when you have the car on.

Dialing can be from the car (downloads phonebook from phone) and/or from the phone. The download is about 500 #s as I remember. Works well with my RAZR, but not so well with my BlackBerry, as I have 2000 contacts in there and the car only downloads to 'C'...

All in all, a very nice set up.

Default It also has voice recognition for numbers and an audio list of commands.

The voice is pleasant and easy to use. Safe in traffic if you don't want to take your eyes off the road.

Thanks. I have a Blackberry , I get into the car, and I leave the phone anywhere and it works fine correct. I don't need to buy a dock for it?

Thanks

Correct. My RAZR is often in the trunk and I can use the phone fine.

Default What model of blackberry do you have ? I think mine is a 7100. Will it work ?

It has an option for directory sharing in the bluetooth settings.

Default are you able to use a name in voice recognition?

and how do you set it up? Do you have to set it up by saying a name with a number and saving it?

when the phonebook is downloaded to the car can you just say the name of someone in your phonebook or do you have to set it up?
