Default Bluetooth cutting in and out...

All of a sudden, my Bluetooth connection is cutting in and out intermittently every 30 seconds to 1 minute. It is impossible to carry-out a conversation. Any idea what could cause this?

Default What phone? Believe it or not, it's heat-related on my car

Hot summer days BT is worthless. Cool weather it works fine. I use a Blackberry 7130e, and it's NOT the phone that's sensitive to heat.

Default Try checking the power settings on your phone...

...in most cases it's because your phone (iPhone, whatever) is going into a power savings mode of some type, turning off your BT/WiFI/etc. services. Your settings may vary between "battery" & "AC power" mode.

Sometimes I'll forget to charge my iPAQ, need to reset everything up, and will forget to make these changes to the phones hibernation settings causing the same symptoms.

Just a thought...

Default Nokia 6300...

Which worked flawlessly through the last heatwave (assuming heat could cause this). It does have a power saving mode, but that has never affected its Bluetooth performance.

Now, this problem started right after the car was serviced by the dealer last Thursday. Could they have done something (software updates?) to cause this? Everything else seems to be the same and in working order.

Default Think thats weird? My Bluetooth keeps shutting my phone off.

Neither the dealer or myself can figure it out. I have a moto-q and 3 cars, Tacoma & wifes lexus. Phone never shuts off until in the RS4. So strange...

Default My KRZR sometimes connects and disconnects...

It's usually when I walk away from the car with the phone while the car is still on. Then when I get back it can't seem to stay connected. All I do is shut off the phone, then turn it back on and that fixes it.

Default Mine is doing it while driving...

I tried rebooting the phone a couple of times and that didn't fix anything.

Default I just checked...

And, the power saving mode is not disabling the Bluetooth function on my Nokia. I am pretty sure the problem is in the car.

Default Check the firmware on your phone. My SE did the same exact thing.

I updated my firmware and now the connection doesn't break.
