Bluetooth pairing

My Blackberry Pearl paired up just fine. Just remember that you can only pair within the 1st couple
of minutes after starting the car. Put the phone in discoverable mode and search for devices. It should find the car no problem.
Also, once you pair with the car, you will probably want to check the setting that says "always trust this device". That way you won't be prompted to approve the connection each time.
Lastly, set your bluetooth options to allow address book transfer. It will take a minute or two to transfer your address book, depending on size.

On my pearl it's Settings | Options | Bluetooth, then when you see the device list,
then hit the menu key, pick options and you will see the Address Book Transfer setting.

Do you use categories in your contacts? That may be the problem that you have.
