Bluetooth Set up question AGAIN......
Okay so, I had asked the forum for easy "non-owners manual instructions to set up the bluetooth because I had been screwing around for a few minutes with the telephone setting and it couldn't find my phone.
Now, I have read the owners manual and additionally have tried to get my Blackberry 8800 to find the car and no-go with every option.
Do any of you have the bluetooth working with a euro wheel (and the alterted vag-com) and are running a blackberry 8800 (or other bb) and have your phone recognizing your car or vice-versa?
I apologize for the grammatical erros or mis-spelt words Parikh1234

Does your BB see the car when in discovery mode?
There's nothing to do from the car side. You should have some way to enable bluetooth discovery on your phone (or enable pairing, or whatever your phone may call it), at which point the phone will say it discovered your car, and asks for a security code. Enter 1234, and you should be good to go.

Re: Bluetooth Set up question AGAIN......
Not sure what you've tried so far, but I had some issues when I first got my 8310. I got it to work by putting the bberry in pairing/discoverable mode, then inserting the key and turning on the engine, then telling the bberry to look for available devices. The trick was to have the device in pairing/discoverable mode before putting the key in the ignition and turning on the engine. Hope this is helpful.

I have never gotten it to work with bb 8700
It would pair and then lose connection within minutes. But the phone thought it was still paired and then only way to get it tp unpair was to reset the bb. I gave up and just use a bluetooth headset.

Thanks guys. Euro Wheel may be the problem.
I have tried these methods.
I think it has something to do with the Euro wheel assembly since I was told by the dealer that the car's phone interface is directed by the OEM wheel and not supported by the Euro wheel. Anyone know if this is the case?

I don't think the euro wheel is to blame, unless the VAG codes you used aren't correct...
There is a VAG code that will not allow phone pairing and it's possible your on that coding.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/30431.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/30431.phtml</a></li></ul>
