Just ordered a set of Carbotech XP-10's for the RS4. I have the Audi Driving Experience at Summit Point next weekend, and wanted a second set of pads in case the Stoptech pads wear out on Day 1 (2 day event).

Anyone ever used the XP10? The reviews look greak for track...not so good for street. I love the stoptech pads on the street, they have low dust, no noise, and decent bite. I already have a second set of wheels/tires for track use, so I'm thinking every time I do a track day I'll swap out wheels and brake pads. Anyone else doing this seeing any negative effects on Rotors? I've always had my rotors turned or replaced every time changing pads, is it OK to just swap them back and forth like that?

The price is decent at under $280 considering the performance. If I get a chance to use them next week I'll do a nice comparison of the Stoptech vs XP10s...as you can imagine it's probably not going to be a close comparison.

I actually ordered the XP-10's as my primary set for Summit. The other guy I know running them gets a few track days out of them which was my focus. He's been just throwing them in for track days and didn't say he'd been having any issues. I guess I'll find out for sure soon..... FYI, RAI up in Dundalk can get the EPL tunes. They basically just need a couple hours heads up so they can have it electronically sent to them. Takes about 2 hours for the install. I'm debating if I want to go up there on Friday to get it.
