Broken Sun Visor Clip

My wife managed to break off the passenger side sun visor clip this evening. The plastic part looked particularly flimsy. No big deal but how does one replace this part...hopefully not by removing the head liner!

replace the whole roof liner with aluminum trim

and wrap the visor with carbon fibre

Same thing happened on our Q5....

Don’t bother with the Ebay knock offs. I bought a twin pack of 2 for $8 and one snapped off again in less than a week. Spring for the $35 one at the dealer and learn to pull it straight back instead of down. Audi should have made these clips out of aluminum. Amazing the prices they get for these cars and then charge you $35-40 for that visor clip plastic piece of crap.
