brown smoke from exhaust at WOT--normal?
A friend in a car behind me commented on "brown smoke" coming from my exhaust at WOT, traveling at highway+ speeds. The engine was fully warmed, and the pull was from around 4k to 7k rpm. I didn't notice anything unusual during the event or on the rest of my way to work. Anything to be concerned about?
I imagine this could be normal, and that at WOT the computer simply abandons all efforts of careful air/fuel metering. Thanks

I get smoke every time I drop the hammer and take it past 7K rpm....seems pretty normal to me. Haven't noticed any power loss or anything....and it's enough smoke for me to see it in my rear view mirror.
