Default brushed alum side windshield reveals cleaning?

Anyone have a similar problem with the side windshield "reveals" the brushed aluminum outside borders of the windshield are stained or just look worn and uneven in color? Suggestions on a product to bring them back to life?

No, mine look great.

Although I have a "stain" on the very bottom of my front grill that might need any solution offered in this thread.

I'd assume the aluminum pieces are painted and try my favorite paint cleaner <table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td align="left" valign="top"> </td><td colspan="2" align="left" valign="top"> Z-PC Fusion Dual Action Paint Cleaner Swirl Remover</td></tr></tbody></table>
Practically everybody makes a paint cleaner so maybe try whatever you have on your shelf.

Good question, don't know if that is painted or anodized? Anyone? but Phil at DD might have a suggestion also.

The mirrors are the same exact color so that's why I think they're painted.

Trunk strip, grill, etc. all the same.

I think you are right! I actually went out to double check, and yes they are all identical and don't actually look like brushed aluminum. Just a matte aluminum/silver paint.

They should have a thin clearcoat applied so could be treated like other painted surfaces.

I wouldn't use any aggressive products on these sections though - go very light on them.

Thanks and you're car is amazing. I recall your saying you had peeling on your mirrors...mine are actually in good shape but the front end/lower bumper is all chipped up, and i'll have to do something about it. I'm also thinking of blacking-out the grill's silver trim. the Euro grill looks really cool, i'd love to get rid of the side-reflector over the gills too.
I'm going to have the windows tinted this weekend, and really looking forward to seeing the results.
one step at a time!
