Default burning clutch smell....

Car just developed symptoms of the clutch hose problem. Now I smell a hint of burnt clutch when I drive it very gently and the clutch feels relatively normal to depress. Have a bit of waiting before Audi has the parts to fix it.
Safe to drive it or am I screwing up the clutch?

Default Try fully releasing the clutch faster...

I know exactly the smell you are referring to and in my case, it was because the clutch was only partially engaged for too long before I dropped it into gear.

Audi Service is better equipped to answer the questions.
