Buying a used RS4

Buying a used RS4
I'm thinking about buying a used RS4. I'm seeing quite a few 5-10K mile used RS4s pop up for sale. I have a couple of questions. Have there been any mechanical/electrical issues pop up on these yet? Any problem areas? I've seen some people are replacing brake pads and rotors at fairly low miles. Anything else? My other question is about the rear seats. Do they fold down? Was this an option or do they all fold down. Is there enough room to get a road bike in there?
Thanks for your help

bike should fit no problem... remove at least the front wheel
These have been very low problem cars.
If you drive normally the brakes will hold out. Driving normally is tough to do with 420hp under the hood and plenty of grip. :-)
Have to "pay to play" comes to mine with replacing tires and brakes.

Re: Buying a used RS4
Thanks for the replies. Its nice to hear no teething problems for this car. I'd love to get the avant version of this car, but of course, it is not imported. But if the seats fold, the sedan might work for me.
I see the S5 comes with a B&O stereo option. This isn't available on the RS4? I've never been a big fan of Bose.

I've had a moutain bike, a road bike and another mountain frame
all in the back at the same time with gear for 4 days riding. Nothing in the front passenger seat. Of course, I removed both wheels from both complete bikes, and it did take a bit of trial and error.
But one bike goes in without a hitch (no pun intended...)

Thanks for the info. My preference for transporting a single bike is to remove the front wheel only. Sounds like that is not a problem.

Re: I've had a moutain bike, a road bike and another mountain frame
i do it every day...here's some tips. 1. get an old matt (i use an old carpet pad) and cut it to the size of your trunk with the rear seats down...leave yourself a couple feet to flap it over the rear bumper to protect it while you are angling the bike into the car. take the front wheel off...put the bike in rear tire first. once it's in...take the flap and place it over the front fork...makes a nice nest for your front wheel. whenever i show up for a ride it amazes people how easily a bike fits into the back of the RS4!
