I was wondering whether there is anyway to bypass the tire sensor warnings if I put a winter tire set on that didn't have sensors? I didn't know if you can use the VAG to reprogram the car or whether there is no way to bypass it and you pretty much have to get sensors on every set of tires you use.

Any ideas?

but you need vag


1) Go to 17-Instruments
2) choose Adaptation
3) choose Channel 61.
4) Subtract 512 from the value you find there.

Stupid question, but where does one find all these codes? Is there a list of VAG code numbers that can be used to re-program things? I have VAG, also the Bentley CD, but wonder how I get the codes.

I had to disconnect my battery and lost a bunch of features (e.g. welcome home fog lights, etc.), how do I find the codes to get them back? Thx
