C63 vs M6: Which is faster?
 

Just finished our season finale show where a C63 raced an M6...it was really a close race in this short section.

Obviously, with two girls driving, it was hard to get a sense of the true potential, but if you were me, which car would you pick? One is SMG, the other is auto
 

There's probably some finesse to the SMG as far as shift points go, but it seems that the M6 was faster. Wonder how it stacks up against an M3?

I think they would be very close in a 1/4 mile race.
 

The M6 has slightly higher HP but the C63 has a torque advantage. I don't think a 1/4 mile would allow enough time for the M6 to use its additional HP to significantly pull away from the C63.

In a 1/4 race, the C63 and M3 have been tested only a tenth or two of a second apart so the M6 will probably have a slightly better advantage on an M3.

Something about the C63 that intrigues me.
 

The build quality and the interior ergonomics of the Merc tkae the edge.

i might have shortened the car wash scene, or mixed in some more video of her being interviewed, but otherwise it was pretty good!

the M3 stacks up about $40k less, last time I checked!

For this episode, I had two weeks to edit instead of 3 days. Plus, my new computer and software makes it easier...I was easily losing 1-1.5 days waiting for files to output or fixing problems.

Not to mention that I was able to film in two locations over two days, luxuries I've never had before.

I really enjoyed.

Dude, not only is that phrase extremely insulting to women in general, I'll bet there are half a dozen women on these fora who could drive circles around you, or most guys here.

Next time, you might want to consider writing something such as...

"With 2 non-professional drivers driving..."
or
"Considering these women were just driving for fun..."

or any one of a half dozen alternatives to painting an entire gender with one brush.

Furthermore, what happened on the video is irrelevant, the girls in that video were paid to do it, and did so voluntarily, so they cannot complain about how they are portrayed.

But his comment translates as: girls can't drive for **** because well, they are girls.

It was an obnoxious thing to say, period.

I specifically noted at the intro of part two that we were using two inexperienced female drivers.

I do respect women, and I can appreciate that there are females that can drive circles around me. While I'm no slouch behind the wheel myself, I can tell you that after filming 16 of these shows, I never came across one that could drive very well. By the same token, serving as an instructor at Audi club events, I can tell you that I also get males who lack driving skill.

That's not the point of the show...to portray the girl in any particular way. Its completed unscripted. How they portray themselves is them playing a role. In fact, I didn't even handle casting... my wife (Miss Becky in the show) does that.

Generally speaking, girls that CAN drive well don't look good in a bathing suit. We interviewed more than 100 girls to drill down to these and very early on, we knew we were getting hotties or drivers, not both.

I fail to understand the hypocrisy of forum posters on some Euro boards, this one included. Do me a favor TTinGables and post your browser history here so I can scan for porn sites. If its clear, I'll pass your name along to the Nobel people.

For the record, the girls were paid MORE than any of my crew. Whatever happened to equal work for equal pay.

How the heck this post strayed from soliciting opinions on the two cars, I don't know.
