Default Cabriolet instrument bezel vs sedan

Well I've been test driving RS4's the past couple of weeks on my lookout for a decently priced one to purchase and managed to test a cabriolet the other day. These things seem to be all over the place and dealers are aching to get rid of them (unfortunately for them I do NOT want a cab).

In any case, I noticed that the instrument bezel is MUCH MUCH nicer than the ones in the sedan and I was wondering if it is easy to do a swap? Is it integrated into the whole cluster thus making it ridiculously expensive and not worth it? Or is it something that can be easily done? Just a thought. And did they do that bezel in the cab so its easier to see the gauges when the top is down (sun)?

Also, I always wondered: Why did Audi remove the push button start for the US version RS4? And why did they remove the flat-bottom wheel and sportier racing style seats? Seems back-asswards

Default It would be a huge expense if you could even swap them. I don't think you can though....

I have a push button start on my BMW, and personally I hate it. Its very annoying. The good old fashion way, insert key, turn key is much better. Trust me.

I wish they kept the steering wheel too.

Default Well, you're probably looking at a minimum of 800-1K for a new cluster

then you have to pay the dealer to install it. And because of the immobilizer system, the dealer is the only one that can do it.

If you can even find a dealer that will do it.

The cluster is around $500. I actually have a brand new one from a project I never started.

I never took it out of the box. It's the sedan/avant cluster.

Default Add V1, Lidatek, possible color change..I decided against it though...

I planned on waiting until I saw an A4 or S4 looking for one.
