Can the S4 black alcantara interior be custom ordered...?
Someone posted a pic recently and I was wondering if this interior can be custom ordered just like the color?

Yes but it's cheaper to have a local auto fabric shop change the 'stock' Napa leather to Alcantara.
And then you have many more custom color options at your disposal at the same time. Want red inserts on your black seats? different piping?
You can get it all done for less money after you get the car, and your net wait time will still be less, too.
I've been looking into these options very recently, and that's the way to go, just FYI.

No, unless something has explicitely changed, has it?
Many requests through many channels and all answers were no for Alcantara on US RS4s.
That was some time ago though. Has that changed?

same price as your couch. give or take, depending on what you want done.
The piping gets pricey b/c it necessitates restitching the whole carcass basically, but just doing the inserts front and rear is a little under $2500, give or take depending on the shop.
The material is probably almost a grand or more of the cost.
Depending on what's accessible, I might cover a few other things too.
But it's waaay less than getting Audi to do it. Rumors are it WILL be available as a regular option eventually (as on the S4), maybe for '08 if not earlier.
