Don't know if anyone's tried this
I used a light weight bearing oil on every seam
and let it soak in while flexing the console.
Seemed to make the noise go away, probably temporarily.I'm sure spray Armor All would work the same.

ArmorAll is the worst thing you could do and is likely what caused the squeak in the first place. Once it dries out, it leaves a very high friction residue that is hell-bent to squeak. Who likes that glossy, greasy, dust-magnet look anyway?

I keep my workout gloves or a microfiber cloth on top of that plastic insert, otherwise I'd go nuts.
